Health Affairs Addresses Maternal Mental Health

Health Affairs—a noted public policy journal—recently addressed maternal mental health, dedicating its entire October edition to the issue. MMHLA Executive Director, Adrienne Griffen, led a team that provided an overview article entitled “Perinatal Mental Health Care in the United States: An Overview of Policies and Programs.” Health Affairs also hosted a Briefing On Perinatal Mental Health featuring Congresswoman Lauren Underwood and several subject matter experts. MMHLA is grateful to Jennifer Moore, Executive Director of the Institute for Medicaid Innovation, for serving as the adviser for this focus on maternal mental health.
