Become a Grant Reviewer

The Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) has provided over $16 billion in federal funding for priority research areas over the last 30 years.

Because of MMHLA’s advocacy work, federal law now requires that maternal mental health be included as a priority research area. In order to carry out this work, the CDMRP seeks peer reviewers for grant proposals.

Grant reviewers are consumer/advocate reviewers who act as lay experts and focus on the expected impact of the research and aspects that are most important for quality of life. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about potential research funding opportunities.
